Is 2012 the end of the world? I bet many people have heard it. Some people say the world will end December 21st, 11:11AM, Winter solstice 2012. The prophecy is originated from the Mayans, which had earliest Mesoamerican civilizations which flourished in the tenth century. It is said that cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on or around December 21 in the year 2012. These disastrous events make 12/21/12 the end-date of a 5,125-year-long Mayan long count calendar. In addition there is an ancient Chinese book called I-Ching, the book of changes, also redicts a 2012 termination point. In the 1980s, people noticed a graphic line in the book. The line went low for World Wa I; lower for World War II; and tne line ended on 2012. Are you convinced now?
Unfortunately if it is true, nothing can save us. How can the governments in the world prepare 6 billion pepole for worldwide catastrophes? Well, they can not. What goes up will come down. The space shuttles can't either. They only have oxygen last for a limited time. What can we do?
Good news, this prediction is not true. Our world will survive way beyond 2012; and every one will talk about silly movie 2012 with relief. You know our calendar. At the end it does not say calendar ends; It might run out of space when they were making calendar. hundres of doomsday theories, are WW3, super volcano, Black Hole, planet X, alien invasion, Natural disasters, pole shift etc. Believe it or not a NASA scientist received an email saying a woman was planning to kill an unborn bdby, her duaghter, and commit suidide all because of 2012. Some people have been in a panic since 2000. However there is nothing to warry about. Alian invasions and plant X are so unlikely that it is rubbish. WW3, super volcanoes, and pole shift aren't powerful enough to wipe the world. The world won't end there; it wil just keep rolling on. Anyhow, there was a great panic when in 1999 a doomsday prophecy warned that 1999 was the end. Besides the US ARMY had to come to court because someone began a mass suicide in a court house. Well more thasn 100 people died as the workd went rolling on for the rest of the people. Also doomsday was supposed be to 1947. Anyway IT WAS NOT A GREAT YEAR but the world did not end there. In the 9th centruy a person announced that the end was near. That guy had a bent pin. So now the Mayans lost their marbles, and need to go to the mad house BADLY.
